What Is ValueStockFinder.com and IVM-Pro and Do They Work?
ValueStockFinder.com is not just another "system" for selecting stocks. The IVM-Pro™ Algorithm (mathematical formula) was first developed in 1976 by two investors who also were successful businessmen, mathematicians, and statistics analysts. What began as an exploration of the stock market patterns developed into a serous and productive investment tool that they called "IVM-Pro" (Intrinsic Value Model - Professional). The IVM-Pro algorithm has been refined and enhanced continuously, and used as their exclusive investment aid, for more than 25 years. It is shared here for the first time with the public and it is available only on the ValueStockFinder.com web site.
To buy 100 shares of each stock in any brokerage firm's "Top 100" list would cost more than a half-million dollars. ValueStockFinder.com and its IVM-Pro Algorithm are designed to find, immediately, those top 10 or 20 stocks whose financial data, combined with their stock price, strongly demonstrates that they are significantly undervalued. There is universal agreement among professional investors that locating stocks like these is the first step to a successful investment strategy.
The data presented here will provide this important information to assist investors in their decisions by eliminating the overwhelming majority of stocks in the market place and concentrating on those that, from the data available, represent the value stocks that should be among those stocks considered most by the serious investors.
How Does ValueStockFinder.com Work?
More than 5,000 stocks are evaluated each day by the Intrinsic Value Model's Algorithm (IVM-Pro). Available financial data and the day's market price for each stock are screened automatically and each stock is awarded a mathematically formulated Intrinsic Value Index. Other numerical factors also are entered into the IVM-Pro Model that deal specifically with the economy and interest rates. These are data that reflect the present and future economic environment and relative potential for an increase in the share price of Value Stocks. The Intrinsic Value Index is the result of this comprehensive analysis. The Intrinsic Value Index Chart below illustrates the ranking and its importance in the determination of a stock's valuation based on available data and the stock's current price in today's market.
In ValueStockFinder.com's Intrinsic Value Analysis Results, a Value Index of "5.5" would mean that the stock being analyzed was fairly valued at today's price. For ease of use, the Index here will be expressed as numbers from "1" to "10." A "1" indicates a stock that is dramatically overvalued, and a "10" is automatically awarded to those stocks significantly undervalued and worthy of greater consideration as an investment.
"NA" (if it appears) means either that the stock symbol entered does not exist, or that the stock does not qualify as a Value Stock, or that there is insufficient data presently available to produce a Value Index for that stock on this day. It is very possible that the additional data will become available that will allow IVM-Pro to award an Intrinsic Value Index to an "NA" stock in a day or two so it is best to log in and check the "NA" stock each day. Stock names in the "Top 10" and "Top 25" lists are all ranked "10" but they may change positions from day to day (or even be replaced with another stock) because each stock's index will be affected by both changing available financial data and the stock's daily market price.
The Intrinsic Value Index any stock "earns" does not indicate a "Buy" or "Sell." For example, a company symbol entered in the list may have declared insolvency on a day during which the Value Index is a "10." Neither the software nor ValueStockFinder.com reads the news headlines so it will be important for each investor to adjust the Value Index within the context of current events. Even though the Value Index for a specific stock may be impressive, the financial and pricing data available from any and all financial reporting resources for the stock may not have changed from the previous day when the stock could have been considered a significant Value. It is important, therefore, for each subscriber to log in after the market closes each day to review the status of all stocks.

IVM-Pro Software
The same professional Intrinsic Value Model Algorithm is also offered as software (click on the IVM-Pro Software button at the top of the page for more information) that any investor can use at home. The software will automatically download both stocks and options and evaluate potential trades in an intelligent effort to help the user guarantee an acceptable annualized return. In fact, with IVM-Pro Software, the user actually can select the desired annual return and create investments that will achieve that objective.
For Options
The biggest complaint from the majority of options traders is that it is almost impossible to select the proper stocks on which to buy or sell options. For those trading Covered Calls (the most conservative options approach with the least risk and the greatest safety), selecting the proper stock is extremely important. The agreed professional policy is never to write options on stocks that you, as an investor, would be unwilling to own. Value Stocks represent the most conservative investment strategy whether they are bought for long-term investment or for Covered Call options trades. ValueStockFinder.com and IVM-Pro are designed to provide subscribers with the best of the Value Stocks. The software also lists the options combinations for each Value Stock.
For Stocks
ValueStockFinder.com is designed specifically to help an investor eliminate consideration of thousands of stocks that are available and select only those value stocks that represent the most substantial opportunity for an impressive return. Undervalued stocks historically have outperformed those stocks that are significantly overvalued over time. Stocks that perform in this manner also are important candidates for Covered Call (or other) Options.
This site will show each subscriber which stocks qualify as "Significantly Undervalued" from among the thousands of stocks evaluated by ValueStockFinder.com each trading day. It is important to emphasize that all stocks on the "Top 10" and "Top 25" Stock Lists on this site have achieved a rank of "10" based on an analysis of their current stock price combined with all other available financial data about the company.
